Splash uses Tableau data visualization software to create useful and beautiful reports and dashboards. We use data recorded by Splash staff in Salesforce and CommCare as well as other sources to show the most relevant and recent results.

1. View live in Tableau Online portal

2. Subscribe to receive reports via email

Some Splash dashboards have an option of subscription. If you are subscribed to a dashboard, you will receive an automated email from [email protected] at pre-determined schedule, in PDF or Image format. The email will also contain a link to the report in Tableau Online.

If report is marked as available for subscription here or has a 'Subscribe' option in top right corner, you can subscribe yourself to receive an automated email.

If you need assistance or would like to subscribe someone else to a report/dashboard email, please contact MLE team with the subscription request. Please include frequency and time of day, filters to be pre-set for the view, format (PDF or image), for reports with multiple tabs, please advise what tabs to include/exclude from the email subscription).

Home Tab

Upon login into the portal, you will start on the Home page. This page provides quick access to the pages you marked as Favorites (section 'Favorites'), the content you viewed most recently (section 'Recents'), as well as content Tableau recommends you to check out based on content popular with other Splash users (section 'Recommendations').

Explore Tab

The dashboards are usually posted in a folder per team's internal function:

1. Development Team

2. Programs Team

3. Finance Team

4. Operations Team

Your level of access may vary depending on your role and function (for example, visibility to some Development and Finance folders and dashboards may be limited to senior management or specific individuals due to content sensitivity).

Favorites Tab

Use a 'star' icon to mark folder, dashboards or views you expect to refer to regularly (same as a 'bookmark'). Any items you mark with 'star' icon will then appear in the 'Favorites' section.

If you received a link to a dashboard via email or chat, simply click on the link. Loading of the dashboard may require you to enter a login/password and take 3-5 minutes to load depending on Internet speed.

Once you are logged in into Splash Tableau Online portal, you can also use the 'Search' bar in the top right corner. Type in the key word, click one of the pop-up results or click on 'See All' for the comprehensive list.

In most cases, you will find the Views or Workbooks options most helpful.

On most pages in Tableau Online portal, you have an option to view the items in Grid or List View. Your selection will affect all the folders and can be changed at any time.
