Splash Global Footprint - Beneficiaries and Sites
Click on link to open: Splash Global Footprint - Beneficiaries and Sites
Location in Splash Tableau Online portal: 2. Programs Team -> 2.6 Program Impact -> Splash Global Footprint- Beneficiaries and Sites
Report Description: 1 tab. Shows number of sites and beneficiaries Splash serves by country, site type (school, orphanage, etc.) and beneficiary type (kids, staff, adult residents/students).
The dashboard shows Cumulative Number of Beneficiaries Year over Year and associated number of Sites. The bottom graph shows how many New beneficiaries were added to the Splash footprint every since since 2007. Please see details below on how these numbers are gathered:
The dashboard shows data only for sites where an MoU record exists in Salesforce for any scope of work (just Behavior Change, just Infrastructure or Combination). Splash may or may not have started any Work at the site.
If a site exists in SF but has no MoU record, it will not get reflected on this dashboard. If a site has signed several MoUs with Splash over the years, the Year of the First MoU signing is reflected in the dashboard, while beneficiaries/population data is the most recent available in SF.
Example: a school in Kolkata received teacher training in 2016 from Splash, with the First MoU Start date of 2016 in Salesforce and population of 1,000 beneficiaries. In 2018 the school joins Project WISE Group 1, a new MoU record gets added to Salesforce with MoU Start Date in 2018. Splash MLE team does population/enrollment survey in 2018 and finds 850 beneficiaries (down from 1,000 beneficiaries in 2016). In the dashboard, the site will get shown in 2016 with 850 beneficiaries added to the total Splash beneficiaries footprint.
Target Audience/Solution for: Splash Development team, External Splash. This is your go-to for all the newsletters etc. to show ‘how many kids, students (including adults), staff and ALL Splash has benefited globally from 2007.
2020 numbers reflect beneficiaries where MoU was signed but work has not necessarily started be careful! In May 2020, at the first review of this dashboard, Cyndie recommended the Development team to only use numbers up to 2019.
Data source: Salesforce Program Data (including Commcare most recent enrollment data).
Data timeliness: The data is refreshed once a day, every day, at 6-7 am Seattle time ( = 6:30 pm-7:30 pm Kolkata time, = 4:00-5:00 pm Addis time). If the record is added to Salesforce during or after the refresh time period, you will see the added record reflected in the dashboard the next day.
Subscription via email: available as of August 2020. Please contact the MLE team if you would like to be subscribed to this report (please include the filters you are interested in).
