Data Security and Sharing Guidelines

Splash does not allow external parties access to raw programmatic data of any kind.

On occasion, Splash does share clean and shaped data with external parties (for example, government and donors). This requires advance approval from the Program Impact team in Seattle and may require external parties to sign a non-disclosure agreement.

If we are sharing data outside of the organization, it must be cleaned and shared in a pre-arranged format with identifying information removed. In the case that specific data points need to be included as verification of summary data, all identifying information should be removed.

Any exception to this standard must be approved in advance by members of the Program Impact team in Seattle.
