Curriculum

WHAT: Each country has a customized hygiene curriculum to fit the local context and existing government curriculum, however the core themes can be found in the training section, linked here. Existing country curriculum can be seen in the attached folder.

WHY: To ensure long-term adoption of the Splash Hygiene Program into school systems and structures, there should be collaboration with relevant government departments and hygiene lessons should be incorporated into the standard government curriculum.

HOW: Splash leads the process by developing a committee with government staff, teachers, and Splash staff. Splash produces the first draft and makes adjustments as mutually agreed. The initial draft and final version should both be developed in collaboration with the Global Manager of Behavior Change.

WHEN: Curriculum should be developed prior to implementation of the Splash Behavior Change program.
