Splash works to ensure that all children around the world have clean water, clean hands, and clean toilets.  We have no explicit restrictions about where we work; however, given financial restraints, we are focused to prove our model in a range of settings globally, document our success (and challenges), and encourage others (both private, public, and non-profit institutions) to replicate our model elsewhere. While we have worked in rural, peri-urban, and urban settings, our current core focus, due to need and demographic trends, is in urban environments, particularly Kolkata, India and Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.  We also actively work to “graduate” our current programs so that local entities (government, non-profit, or corporate) can manage the sites and programs in perpetuity with no additional philanthropic support needed from Splash.
